Set the person in charge of a location
Name the crew lead, driver or shop manager answerable for what's there. Where that name shows up, and who it emails.
Each location can name one person in charge: the crew lead on a job, the driver of a van, the shop manager at the yard. Anyone on your team can be chosen, field users included.
- Open the location and press Edit (or set it while adding the location).
- Pick them in Person in charge (optional) and press Save.
Where it shows
- Under the location's name on its page.
- In the equipment by location report, beside every place.
- In the inspection compliance report, beside each item, so you know who to ask about an expired certificate.
Who it emails
When an item at that location is reported out of service, the person in charge is emailed along with the office team — unless they reported it themselves. See Report a problem with equipment.
